Border Terrier Breeders in Mottram Cheshire, for many years I bred Rottweilers I've now scaled down in size but not character to the Border Terrier and to a lesser degree Staffordshire Bull Terriers. I have been a hobby dog breeder since 1978 and have produced many terrier, limit, open and Championship show winners, including stud book qualifiers, Green Star winners, Junior Warrant winners, and reserve Challenge Certificate across four breeds The Border Terrier, German Shepherd, Welsh Corgi Pembroke and Rottweiler I also bred the first UK Rottweiler to win the new Champion title Show Champion of Merit.

I'm now concentrating on Breeding Border Terriers for work, racing and show at all levels and in my first couple of Litters of Border Terriers have produced a Reserve CC, stud book number, Crufts qualifiers, Terrier Racing Champion and Working Champion Terrier, Best in Show Winner, PAT Dog 'Betty' and Border Terrier Actors on Coronation St, not bad for a fresh start in new breed.

The Border Terrier currently being seen on Coronation Street from Feb '08 has been bred and is owned by me, and is in no way connected to the previous Border Terriers used and owned by Mr Hardman of Bolton. 'Eccles'of Coronation St, all three of them, belong to Asplands.
